“Your motivation is the transportation to reach your destination.” —Rich Wilkerson Jr.

Week four has been a blast! Its hard to recap all that took place in the life of VOUS Church this week, but here it goes! Yesterday was a beautiful step forward into God’s destiny for us, as Pastor Rich continued the series I Did It On Purpose.

In this journey of life, what is driving you? It is so important to know your motivation in life because your motivation is the transportation to reach your destination. To reach your destination, you must make sure that the thing that’s driving you won’t break down on you. Wrong motivation will never lead to the right destination. But how do we discover the right destination?

You will never understand God’s specific will for your life until you understand God’s general will for your life. God’s general will for all of us is made clear in 1 Thessalonians: rejoice always, pray continually and give thanks in every season. It’s vital that we choose joy in every season and develop a consistent prayer life! As you choose to be thankful in every season you are filled with peace. The greatest destination we can seek is to be in God’s will.

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
