Our very first VOUS Church Christmas Eve service is now behind us but will continue in our hearts forever. It was a night to remember as our church family gathered together to celebrate our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the beautiful Manuel Artime Theater.
The atmosphere was overflowing with God’s abundant love. Families came dressed in their best holiday attire to spend the night before Christmas lifting up the name of Jesus and cozied up to Christmas carols gracefully sung by our wonderful worship team.
Pastor Rich shared a special message titled Girl Interrupted and invited us to look deeper into Luke 1:26-37 helping us understand how the “interruption” in Mary and Joseph’s plans was actually God intervening in life.
“God always gives you the what before he gives you the how.” Pastor Rich Wilkerson, Jr.
When the angel Gabriel came to share the good news sent by the Lord, Mary was frightened. She was given this incredible promise of what was going to happen but she didn’t understand how. Pastor Rich reminded us that God interrupts our present life in order to impact our future life. Whatever God asked of us always requires us to walk through faith and regardless of how impossible a promise may seem, nothing is impossible with God.
In all, it was a spectacular evening, the perfect way to celebrate the joy and wonder of Christmas. We are so grateful for all the blessings that have poured upon VOUS Church in 2015 and are so excited about 2016 and truly believe that the best is yet to come.
What better way to end the year than to gather together for our last Sunday service of 2015! Join us this Sunday as we celebrate what God has done this year and take communion together.
Services at 11:00 AM & 6:00 PM
